Recent beef recall does not include products sold at Raisin Rack
An national grocery chain announced last week that it was recalling fresh ground beef sold at its stores between June 2 and August 6 because of potential E. coli contamination. The recall included its Ohio locations. Our Raisin Rack customers can rest assured that none of the beef sold at our stores is subject to this recall. Our beef suppliers are Organic Prairie, which is part of the Organic Valley family, and Pleasant Springs Farms, located near Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Westerville Store Barbeque and Wine Tasting Event
On Saturday, August 23, from noon to 2 p.m., warm up for the tailgating season when the Westerville Raisin Rack hosts a barbeque and wine-tasting event that everyone is invited to attend. Sample great-tasting, grilled hamburgers from grass-fed beef raised locally on Pleasant Springs Farm and sample four wines. The cost for the wines are $1. Tuesdays with Tiffany at Canton Store
Tiffany Costanzo, a pet health advocate from Wholesome Pet, will be at the Raisin Rack in Canton on the first Tuesday of each month for a Tuesdays with Tiffany lecture series to discuss pet food, treats, supplements, grooming and other topics. Free samples of healthy pet food and treats will be available. Call the Canton store at 330-966-1515 for more information. Tuesdays will Tiffany will not be held in September but will resume in October.

Cookie Cop Cookies at the Westerville Store
Cookie Cop cookies, made by retired Columbus Police officer Craig Lee, are now being sold at the Westerville store. These healthy cookies are high in Omega-3 and are made with a butter substitute and Noni juice. They contain no trans-fat and, best of all, they're delicious.
