Raisin Rack owner to serve on Ohio Grocers Association Board of Directors Raisin Rack founder and owner Don Caster has been named to the Ohio Grocers Association's Board of Directors, the OGA announced in May. Caster will be serving on the board for the first time. He is considered a leading expert in the natural grocery industry and a highly sought speaker on health and wellness issues. "Being able to play a role in directing the focus of the Ohio retail grocery community will reflect our goal of helping people eat healthier while at the same time supporting the work of our state's farmers who make a lifetime commitment of feeding each and every person," Caster said. Caster and his wife, Paulette, founded Raisin Rack in 1978 in Canton, Ohio. Raisin Rack moved into the Columbus market in 1982 and currently operates as a 25,000-square-foot healthier grocery store with a cafe in Westerville at the corner of Cleveland Avenue and Schrock Road just north of I-270. The Canton Raisin Rack expanded in May, nearly doubling in size at 4629 Cleveland Ave. NW to accommodate the growing needs of customers in Stark and surrounding counties in northeast Ohio.
